Fall Vibes

I’m your typical Minnesotan with the “I love Fall”. Its my favorite season! I know people get tired of the “Sweater Weather” term but I still love it. Maybe i’ts the change of seasons that I love, maybe the colors associated with Fall or maybe I just have some genetics from the Polar Bear. But for whatever reason I do call it my favorite season. And it inspires me like no other!

Every year when we head to Northern Wisconsin to our cabin in the woods we drive by the perfect little farm with a pumpkin patch, corn maze and yes…the Pick Up Truck with pumpkins. Everything about it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. If you want to preserve some of that warm and fuzzy for yourself try creating something that reminds you of your favorite thing/s. Here is the perfect example!

I could buy a red pick up truck and fill it and set on my shelf. I see them everywhere. But taking the time out of your busy day to create it yourself is really an important thing to do for yourself. Art is “in the moment” and can offer you the same warm fuzzies the image gives you itself. I wanted my truck to be green so I painted one myself. (oh and painted the little tiny pumpkins too!).
